Who I work with

I provide individual therapy for adults and teens (14+), and dyadic therapy for partners, couples, friends, or family members.

What sessions with me are like:

About my practice

My practice is heavily infused with compassion, mindfulness, and relationality. I care a great deal about the quality of our relationship because of how much research indicates that psychotherapeutic relationship strength predicts better outcomes. I encourage honest feedback about how the therapy process is going for you, especially when it feels scary.

I also rely on the wisdom of the body to guide our work, and support my clients to build awareness of the way emotion physically manifests and expresses itself.

I am a firm advocate of equality and inclusion of all kinds. I am queer-, poly-, kink-, and sex work-affirming. I don’t shy away from conversations about class, gender, and race, and welcome feelings about the more insidious and overlooked systems of oppression, like ableism, ageism, and fatphobia. I strive to be ever-increasingly culturally humble and informed.

My approach to counseling is influenced by many different theories and modalities:

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

  • Internal Family Systems

  • Narrative therapy

  • Gestalt therapy

  • Existential therapy

  • Attachment theory

  • Feminist therapy

  • Client-centered therapy

  • Relational therapy

  • Somatic therapy

  • Expressive arts therapy

  • Drama therapy

  • Ecotherapy

  • Trauma-informed practice

I create a unique blend of these different schools of thought, tailored to each individual, in order to best support you in finding alignment amongst your goals, values, and relationships.
